Ever since Blackjack was developed in 19th century New Orleans, Table Games have forged a huge part of the casino experience. There are dozens of different variations of Blackjack, Roulette and Baccarat, and Guts Casino has it all in abundance!
To place your stake, select the value of your chip and put it on your favourite numbers, colour, or sets within the designated time limit.
Should the spin of the ball take it onto a number or colour in which you’ve got a chip or chips on, you’ll win. The prize depends on the odds to which your bet has been placed. For example, a straight-up number bet pays 35:1. However, if your winning chip (or chips) is spread over two numbers, you’ll get 17:1. Winning bets across lines of three pays 8:1 and sets of four pays 3:1. If you had the minimum bet amount on red or black, the odds are 1:1. Should you have placed a winning bet on one of the three columns or thirds across the board – it pays 2:1.
All you need to do is draw cards that get as close to 21 as possible, but not going over. Sounds easy right?
You are dealt two cards to begin with. It’s then your choice on whether you take another card from the dealer. The number of cards you can draw is limitless, but the more you draw, the more likely you are to go bust and handing the dealer victory. The card numbers from 2 to 10 are worth their face value, while Kings, Queens and Jacks are worth 10 and Aces can be used as either 1 or 11.
Beat the dealer’s total without going over the number 21 – it’s as simple as that. The player has the added advantage that the dealer must hit 17 or more to qualify. If you do your research, you should always take into account the dealer’s cards before choosing whether to take another card or stick with what you’ve got. If you win your Blackjack hand, you’ll be paid out at 1:1. If you hit Blackjack with your first two cards (an Ace and a card with the value of 10), you’ll be paid out at 3:2.
Make a bet on the player or dealer to win. Alternatively, you can back a draw at bigger odds. Once you’ve done that, the basic goal is for you (or the dealer) to get as close to 9 as possible.
Number 10, Jack, Queen and King all have a value of zero, while the digits from 2 – 9 carry their face value. The Ace card has a value of 1. The player and the dealer are each dealt two cards. The closest to the number 9 wins and is paid out at 1:1.
The banker does the job for you and it’s worth noting that if the player’s cards total 0 through to 5, they are forced to draw another card. If it totals 6 through to 9, the player will always stand. The same goes for the banker.
It can also finish as a tie, when the player and the dealer have the same number. You can bet on this outcome at odds of 8:1. The other thing to note in Baccarat is that when the numbers add up to greater than 9, you drop the first number. So if 9+7 was dealt, that would add up to 16. You drop the 1 and you’d be left with 6.
